RoR Power (http://www.rorpower.com) is a boutique recruiting firm specializing in Ruby on Rails opportunities. We are seeking for a few talented Ruby on Rails developers with a passion for music.
The company has a patented technology for music discovery, and is using it as a foundation for a platform in web 2.0 social media. They have offices in DC area, Savannah, GA and San Francisco, CA. The company recently received multi-millions in funding and is rapidly scaling up. The web 2.0 social media platform it is creating is done entirely in Ruby on Rails. Our client is looking for a few experienced Ruby on Rails developers, both front end (jQuery / jRails, Prototype, Scriptaculous, etc) and back end focused. We need superstar (or future superstar) RoR developers to build a world-class online digital music media destination.

QUALIFICATIONS: * Experience with developing a high-volume, B2C website, using Ruby on Rails, LAMP, or Java. * Excited to work in a start-up and thrive in chaos. * The desire to succeed, work on great products, and produce high quality clean and efficient code. * Solid experience with standard web languages/protocols (HTML / HTTP / AJAX / CSS / REST). * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
